Ahoy there, Melissa! Welcome aboard planDisney. My pals and I are so glad that you thought to stop by with your question.
It looks like you have some fun plans ahead with the Disney Cruise Line this summer! There is something to love about sailing at any time of year, but I know my kids just love it when our summer plans include a voyage with Captains Mickey and Minnie. Oh boy, that's sure going to be fun!
It sounds like you are a fellow planner and rule-follower like myself, so I'm happy to report that yes, collapsible wagons are allowed to be brought onboard the Disney Cruise Line. Collapsible wagons are the only type of wagon that is permitted. You can read through a very thorough
list of prohibited items on the Disney Cruise Line website to be sure that everything you are planning to pack is approved.
Strollers or collapsible wagons need to be stored in your stateroom, so I recommend you bring along something that is lightweight and easy to travel with. Alternatively, strollers are available onboard on a first-come basis. For guests who are traveling to Disney's private island of
Castaway Cay, beach-ready strollers and wagons are available for use.
If you'll be
traveling with little ones, there are many accommodations available to make your sailing as smooth as possible. From high chairs, diaper disposal units, portable cribs, and more, the Disney Cruise Line has you covered.
I wish you a magical voyage! Please cruise our way again with more questions if the need arises. We are always happy to help.
Adventure is out there!
