Hi there, Robert!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It looks like your Disney Cruise Line vacation is just DAYS AWAY!!! Just a few more sleeps before you will be off on your MAGICal and memorable adventure with Captain Mickey! It appEARs that you are headed to
Bermuda, which is one of my bucket list itineraries that I hope to check off one day…hopefully sooner than later!
I am so glad that you are planning on dining at
Palo one night during your voyage! My husband and I always look forward to our date night onboard and it’s one of the first things I book when my onboard booking window opens! Make certain you try to chocolate souffle; I guarantee that you won’t regret it! On nights that my husband and I dine at Palo or Remy, we will typically feed our boys Room Service (included with your reservation!) or from the quick service on the pool deck. This ensures us that they get a meal in because once they are dropped off at the Youth Clubs, they usually are so entertained that eating is the farthest thing from their minds! Another option, and one that we have recently started doing more and more, is to schedule our Palo reservation opposite our dining room reservation and then taking our boys to the main dining room for their meal before heading to our own reservation. This allows all of us to experience the dining room as each night there is something a little different to see, taste or experience! If your reservation doesn’t quite line up with this option, and it is something you are interested in looking into, check once onboard about moving around your reservation time at Palo. I have found that we have often been accommodated so that we can do both!
If you haven’t yet downloaded the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to your smartphone, go ahead and do so now! And, if your tweens have any devices, make sure they have it too! The chat feature on it is super handy to communicate and keep up with others while onboard! Each stateroom also has two
Wave Phones which is an equally perfect way to keep up with your tweens while onboard as I am sure they will find themselves enjoying some independence!
Wishing you an incredible adventure at sea! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
