Hello, if I take Disney Cruise Line transportation from Port Canaveral to Disney Swan and Dolphin will it drop me off directly there?

    Ahoy, Hayley!

Welcome aboard planDisney! With your cruise just around the riverbend, I bet your suitcase is already half-packed and your countdown is shorter than a queue for the AquaMouse at “rope drop!”

Let’s set a course for your question: At this time, Disney Cruise Line does not offer direct ground transportation from Port Canaveral to the Walt Disney World Swan or Dolphin Hotels. But no need to call in Genie for a wish—you can still make it happen with a little planning (and maybe a sprinkle of pixie dust).

Here’s the trick: you can reserve ground transportation to Disney’s Beach Club or BoardWalk Inn, which are all located around the same sparkling Crescent Lake as the Swan and Dolphin. Once you arrive, it’s just a short walk to your hotel—close enough that even Hei Hei could probably find his way. (Okay… maybe that’s a stretch.)

If you're traveling with lots of luggage or prefer not to hoof it, a quick rideshare from your drop-off resort to the Swan or Dolphin is another great option and only takes a few minutes. Please be sure to return any luggage carts back to their original resort if you decide to make the short walk.

Now, here’s a tip for debarkation day: Breakfast is usually early, and then it’s time to say goodbye. I always recommend keeping your essentials and travel documents in a small day bag or backpack, especially if you’ve set your larger luggage out the night before for pick-up. And since you’re planning to take Disney’s ground transportation, Cast Members will guide you straight from the ship to your motorcoach once you have grabbed your luggage and cleared US Customs.

I hope this helps you feel like a Disney pro as you chart your post-cruise course! Whether you’re dreaming of EPCOT snacks or just excited to unpack in a new hotel room, your land-and-sea adventure is going to be unforgettable.

Sea ya real soon with a July full of fireworks at sea and memories that sparkle like pixie dust,
