Which Disney Cruise line is most suitable for a 3.5 years old and a 3 months pregnant mom? We live in Ontario, Canada.

    Hi there, Shirley!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited you stopped by with your question about a Disney Cruise Line vacation!  First things first, a Disney Cruise Line vacation is nothing short of magical and will be absolutely perfect for your little Mouseketeer!  The magic of Mickey Mouse and friends through the eyes of a preschooler is like nothing else; even if they don’t remember it, YOU certainly will!

Planning any vacation can be stressful and a little overwhelming if you aren’t sure where to start – or what exactly to choose!  Well, thankfully, no matter which Disney Cruise Line ship you choose to sail on, you will experience the same "Disney magic", with just a few slight variations!  My recommendation for you would be to first determine when you want to sail.  Please note that once you have entered into your 24th week of pregnancy, or reach that point during the voyage, you will not be permitted to sail.  So as long as you are looking for a voyage before reaching that milestone, you are good to go!  If you are planning on sailing very soon – in the next few months, please be aware that the Disney Wonder only has Alaskan itineraries and the Disney Magic is sailing through Europe during the summer months.  Therefore, if you are looking for a Caribbean or Bahamian itinerary, you will need to decide between the Disney Dream or the Disney Fantasy which will both be departing from Port Canaveral, near Orlando, Florida.  This can usually be narrowed down easily since the Disney Dream tends to have shorter voyages than the Disney Fantasy.  But, both these itineraries are fantastic because you also get to visit Disney’s Private Island, which is one of my favorite places to go!

No matter which ship you sail on, or even which itinerary you choose, you can expect a magical adventure with many memories made.  All the ships have onboard youth clubs, adult-exclusive spaces (including a luxurious spa), excellent dining and phenomenal entertainment!  And, of course Captain Mickey will be there too!

Once you book your adventure at sea, please come back and let us know how we can help make this the best vacation for you!
