I have a Disney Cruise Line reservation that includes 6 nights at a WDW resort, so I want to make dining reservations, but the system asks for a 12-digit reservation number and i only have an 8-digit reservation number from DCL. What should I do?

    Hi, Sabas!

In this case, you will probably want to call 407-WDW-DINE and make your dining reservations for Walt Disney World (WDW) by phone instead of online.  I know that they are two separate reservation systems -- so it may not be possible for the WDW system to recognize a confirmation number from Disney Cruise Line. Another idea is to make your dining reservations independent of your resort reservation -- if you're not using the Disney Dining Plan (DDP).

I'm sorry that I don't have a definitive solution to your dilemma.  For me and my family, I've either not been on the DDP for a WDW stay after a Disney Cruise, or I've booked my WDW resort separately from my DCL reservation. Hopefully, one day, they'll associate the two reservation systems so that each will "recognize" the other.

Let me know if you have other questions for me. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
