Ahoy there, Lauren!
Welcome aboard planDisney! I can tell your adventure-loving heart is ready to set sail on a brand-new chapter, and I’m right there with you—standing at the bow, scanning the horizon like Jim Hawkins from Treasure Planet, eager to spot the first glimmer of those fall 2026 itineraries… and maybe even the earliest voyages of 2027.
Typically, Disney charts its course with itinerary announcements about three times a year. The first wave usually covers January through May, the second rides in with summer fun from May to September, and the third casts off with the fall season from October to December. That’s when favorite themed sailings like
Halloween on the High Seas and
Very Merrytime Cruises make their grand entrance. If tradition holds, those fall 2026 details could drop any time now.
Now, here’s where my inner optimist (and a touch of pixie dust) kicks in—over the last couple of years, Disney has unveiled the fall itineraries and some early-year itineraries at the same time. So, while we can’t promise anything, there’s a real possibility those spring 2027 sailings could sneak in alongside the fall 2026 reveal. My crystal ball isn’t as precise as Madame Leota’s, but I’m feeling hopeful.
In the meantime, this is the perfect season to dream and plan—decide which ships are calling your name, map out those must-visit ports, and
choose your ideal stateroom category. That way, when the news finally drops, you can lock in your plans faster than Hercules can say, “I’m on my way.”
I hope this helps you feel ready for the big announcement whenever it comes. Until then, may your days be filled with the same excitement as Dory spotting the “big blue,” and may your next Disney cruise be closer than Peter Pan’s flight to Neverland.
Sea ya real soon as we ride the wave of summer’s final stretch in Disney style,
Dustin
