Ahoy, Marisol, and welcome to planDisney! You’ve asked such a thought-provoking question that we went straight to the source for an answer.
My fellow cruise-loving pal,
Dustin, happened to be sailing away today, so he stopped in the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at sea to ask the Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices about your quandary. They confirmed that Guests, even with a reservation, cannot just come in and purchase the items on their own. There are provisions should a child become fussy during an appointment, and the policy may vary depending on the ship, but they naturally want to ensure there is enough of a supply for other Guests who have appointments to participate in the full experience.
I know this may come as a Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer, but fret not, you can still find fun costumes and accessories for your little princess or pirate at
Mickey’s Mainsail onboard. I hope you’ll still be able to keep your reservation, but should you choose to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time to avoid a per-person cancellation fee. (The cancellation fee also applies to no-shows.)
I’ve been known to partake in a little pixie dust from the Fairy Godmother and her apprentices myself, so I can attest to what a magical experience it is. No matter the vessel you’ll be sailing on, adults can also experience some
royal pampering at Senses Spa. And Marisol, if you happen to be charting a voyage on Disney Wish or Disney Treasure, you can also visit Untangled Salon or Hook’s Barbery.
The mice and I have to run, but I hope this helps you better prepare for your upcoming trip so you’re not surprised when the clock strikes Midnight. If you come up with any other questions, just swing back to us here at
planDisney.
Bon voyage,
Sami
