How does the Disney cruise and land package work? How do you get from one to the other?

Welcome aboard, Allison! Sailing with Disney is always amazing, as is vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! But when we combine them both for a Land and Sea adventure, there is twice as much magic in store!

Disney Cruise Line can arrange a Land and Sea Package for guests who'd like to experience a cruise out of Port Canaveral and a stay at the Walt Disney World Resort before or after their sailing. The best way to begin is to choose your cruise sail date and ship first. Then, you can browse the amazing resorts at Walt Disney World and find the one that best fits your family and budget. The agents at Disney Cruise Line can then get it all booked for you. Give them a call at (800) 951-3532.

If you fly into the Orlando International Airport and are going to the parks and resorts first, you'll have complimentary transfers on Disney's Magical Express from the airport to your resort. For your trip from the resorts to Port Canaveral and back to the airport, you'll want to pre-book Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transfers. Currently the cost for these transfers is $35 per person each way, but I promise that it's the best way to transition from land to sea and back again. Disney takes care of all of the details, so you can simply show up and relax! They also offer transfers from the Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral and then from the ship to the resorts at Walt Disney World, if you're staying at the parks and resorts after your cruise. You'd then take the complimentary Disney's Magical Express from your resort back to the airport at the end of your stay.

I hope you book a surf and turf trip with Captain Mickey! Happy planning, Allison!
