Hi Bryan!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your inaugural Disney Cruise is right around the corner! I can hear your excitement through your question! I remember taking my son on his first Disney Cruise when he was 6 months old. Disney Cruises are such sensory-rich environments; I've loved exploring the ship through my son's eyes ever since!
Your daughter is welcome to join in the fun during any of the family-friendly musicals or shows! I recommend sitting with her in an aisle seat, just in case you need to leave the theater before the show is over. Pirate Night is the most fun night on the high seas! Since the festivities during Pirate Night run late, scheduling a reservation at
"it's a small world" nursery! for her is a wonderful idea! Space is limited so definitely book a reservation as soon as your advance booking window opens. I recommend getting a family photo with everyone dressed up in their pirate gear, including your smallest pirate princess, before dinner, too!
Disney Cruise Line offers many amenities, highlighted in
Traveling with Little Ones, making cruising with a baby so easy! Is your 7-month old scooting or crawling, yet? If so, you have to go to Jack-Jack's Diaper Dash! This event is usually located in the Lobby Atrium and is a blast! Babies will "race" towards the finish line with the help of family members cheering and bribing them along the way! There are multiple heats and the fastest baby across the finish line receives a prize! Even if your daughter doesn't participate, I highly recommend watching this fun(ny) event!
I'm so excited for your family's first Disney Cruise! If you have any other questions before your voyage, don't hesitate to sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
