Hi there, Justin. Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to answer your question today.
I'm going on my first
Disney Cruise Line trip ever in less than a month, and I’m ready! I can’t wait to experience it all: the
rotational dining offerings, the
lounges, and the Broadway-level
entertainment. I'm pretty sure that each evening will feel like a new, shining, shimmering experience. We even have a
spa appointment and are going to experience
Palo Steakhouse, too! While I absolutely love all my
Disney Parks experiences, there’s something special about discovering
a whole new world for the very first time.
I’m happy to report that you can
call to add a pre-cruise hotel stay to your trip, and the Cast Members can also help you arrange
transportation to bring you to the port terminal from the resort and back to the airport once you step off the ship. While I have not yet experienced this myself, I know it comes highly recommended by Guests who have done this. It makes traveling between destinations something you don’t have to worry about. When the logistics are handled for you, it allows you to fully enjoy the view!
Since you’ll be at the resort in the summer, try to book your arrival time early so you can take advantage of
the complimentary water park admission offer on your check-in day when staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel (available for eligible stays from May 26 to September 8, 2026). We did this with our niece and nephew last summer, and it was such a great way to kick off our vacation. We packed our water park necessities in our carry-ons, checked our luggage with
Bell Services when we arrived, and went straight to
Blizzard Beach Water Park. Then, when we got back to the resort, we picked up our luggage and checked into our room. I mean, what better way to begin your vacation than by diving into a whole new world of fun?
Justin, enjoy every moment of your land-and-sea adventure. I hope it gives you a whole new fantastic point of view!
Please reach out again with any other questions you may have.
May phenomenal cosmic powers be yours always,
Matt
