    We are going on our 2nd Disney cruise in July for 5 nights. Can anyone tell me how the dining rotation would work for this and also if that is enough nights to enjoy both Palo and Remy for dinners?

    Hi there, Christina!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  It appEARs that you are going on one of my “bucket list” voyages with two stops at Castaway Cay!  Two days at Disney’s private island sounds like a DREAM come true to me!

    Disney Cruise Line’s rotational dining system is so unique, and I love that by assigning you a dining rotation takes away a lot of the uncertainty of planning or deciding where to eat each evening!  And since your incredible dining room servers follow you each evening, they really get to know you and your family making the experience memorable for all.  During your five-night adventure, you will rotate among the three onboard restaurants, but will visit two of them twice.  You will get to experience the menus specific to the restaurants as well as the Pirate Night menu.  While I love experiencing the main dining rooms each night, I do also look forward to adult-exclusive dining at Palo or Remy when onboard.  Since I usually do not want my boys to miss out on the dining experience in the main dining rooms, we have begun making our adult-exclusive dining reservation for 7:00 or 7:30PM, giving us the chance to take our boys to the main dining room before we head to our “date night”.  This way they get to experience the different unique dining rooms, I ensure that they get a decent dinner and then my husband and I get our time together after dropping them off at the Youth Clubs.  This has worked for us and may be an option for you to consider!

    Just remember…calories don’t count on the “Mickey Boat”!
