Ahoy, Theresa! Thanks for bringing your Disney Cruise Line question to planDisney as you get ready to set sail later this week. I know you are making all of your last minute preparations and want to make sure that you have everything you need.
In my experience, some of the spaces onboard can be a bit chilly at times, but I’ve never needed anything more than a light sweater or jacket to be comfortable. If you tend to run cold, then I would recommend bringing a cardigan or light jacket with you to the
Walt Disney Theatre for showtime and to all of your
rotational dining meals. You may or may not end up needing an extra layer, but it is much more convenient to bring it with you than to have to run back to your stateroom in the middle of the performance or dinner.
The top deck can definitely get chilly at night, but it usually has more to do with the wind coming off the open ocean than the actual temperature. If you plan on venturing up on deck in the evenings, then I would definitely wear a jacket and expect windswept hair afterwards.
I hope that helps ease any concerns that you might have. You can also check out the official Disney Cruise Line
packing lists to make sure that you have everything you need before stepping onboard. Happy sailing!
