Castaway Club member, you know it's the best feeling to know your countdown is ticking away, especially since it's your first cruise as Platinum! I hope you and your mother-in-law have a special meal at

Melanie, your comment made me smile because, as a fellow planner, I know the struggle with not having your
stateroom assignment yet. I have also booked a guaranteed stateroom with Disney Cruise Line and checked daily for the magical number to appear. I've had my stateroom assigned about a month ahead of time, but most recently it was about 10 days before embarkation day. The good news is that every deck has its perks, and you may get a stateroom in an area you've never considered before. My last GTY was in a spot I hadn't stayed in, and now it's at the top of my preference list for a future sailing. If your
luggage tags arrive before you are assigned, use a permanent marker to fill in the number. And don't worry, your Castaway Club gifts reflecting your new status will be awaiting you in your stateroom!
