Hi there, Sandra!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your first Disney Cruise!! I am so excited for you and your family; I know you will have a wonderful time aboard one of Disney Cruise Line’s beautiful ships. Get ready for nonstop action, amazing entertainment and so much more! If you have not yet done so, download the
Navigator app and set a cruise countdown clock and watch the days tick away! Then, once onboard, use the app to check schedules for daily entertainment and activities!
Palo dinners are one of my favorite parts of a Disney Cruise vacation. I enjoy a night with my husband dining on the delicious food with impeccable service. Be certain you save room for the chocolate souffle; it's amazingly decadent! You have a couple options for your children – you certainly check them into the
Youth Clubs where they will serve dinner there at a specified time. Many times will feed them something from Room Service before dropping them off so that I know they get something in their bellies since distractions are easy to come by when you’re having SO MUCH FUN!! But, another alternative that we have recently started doing is to schedule our Palo reservation for an hour or so later than our dining time (we choose main dining) and take the kids to dinner there, allowing them to enjoy the restaurant and then my husband and I drop them off at the Oceaneers Club and head to dinner! Then the kids can play and we can enjoy a lovely dinner! Also remember that Palo offers brunch on sea days, as well!
I wish you a wonderful and magical sailing with many memories made!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
