    We are going on a Disney Cruise in a few weeks and I want to verify that we can take a full face snorkel/mask to use on Castaway Cay in the snorkeling area. My kid has issues using the traditional kind and this works great for him.

    Hi there, Christa!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  With your Disney Cruise Line vacation coming up SO SOON, I know the excitement is building!  I cannot think of a better way to kick off your summer than with a trip to sea with Captain Mickey!

    Castaway Cay is one of my favorite stops on a Disney Cruise because all the fun you are having on board just carries over to the island!  I love starting my day with the Castaway Cay 5K before finding the perfect spot on the beach to set up camp for the day!  We spend all day in the water enjoying the crystal-clear waters and playing on the clean, soft sandy beaches!  When lunchtime rolls around, we enjoy a delicious lunch from Cookies BBQ complete with chocolate chip cookies for dessert!  What a way to spend a day at the beach!!

    Castaway Cay is home to some really incredible sea life...you might even find Sebastian or Flounder under the sea!!  Grab some snorkeling gear and a life vest and head for Snorkeling Lagoon to explore!  Or, if you choose to, you can certainly bring your own snorkel equipment (and, yes, full faced masks are permitted) for use.  If you feel like exploring further offshore, reserve your spot on one of the snorkeling excursions offered by Port Adventures!

    Don’t let your day pass by without a stop at one of the two gift shops on the island where you can pick up some exclusive Castaway Cay merchandise!  All you need is your Key to the World card to make those purchases before heading back to the ship for a fun-filled night at sea!
