G'day, Nadia, and welcome aboard planDisney. It is never too early to start preparing for your voyage on a ship in the
Disney Cruise Line Fleet. As much as we want to disconnect when we go on vacation, there are some home comforts we must have to make our trips more enjoyable.
I bring my tri-fold USB-powered iPhone/Apple Watch/Airpod charger wherever I go including Disney Cruise Line ships because it is not on the
Prohibited and Restricted Item List which includes electrical strips, extension cords, or surge protectors (they pull excessive energy into the stateroom making them a fire hazard). From the description of your MagSafe Charger, you should be ship-shape to bring it aboard.
Inside most Disney Fantasy staterooms are power outlets above the nightstand on one side of the bed and several on the desk. The other side of the bed has a nightstand with a telephone. You can charge all devices during your trip, including digital readers and computers, as needed by adjusting the time when everything gets charged. Since the Disney Fantasy has special interactive features with Mickey technology, I make sure our phones with the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App installed and
DisneyBand+ (purchase onboard) are charged overnight to take advantage of the onboard experiences. All other digital servants get charged between meals and adventures.
Nadia, I know you are going to enjoy every minute of the Disney Fantasy. There is so much to do and it never seems like there is enough time. We have so much fun we end up booking a
Disney Cruise Line Onboard-Only Offer (placeholder reservation) for our next adventure. Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions or about more Disney vacation tips.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories on the High Seas.
