Ahoy Steven,
Thanks for coming to planDisney with your
Disney Cruise Line question! I am happy to help you start to consider planning for what sounds like a magical, multigenerational vacation.
I suggest that you start by taking a look at what cruises are available for the time that you wish to sail. From your question, it seems that date is important to you. Therefore, from the link I provided above, I suggest that you start by clicking "Leaving," and then select the months that you are considering sailing. From there, you can further narrow down by characteristics such as departure ports and destinations.
When you find a cruise that you are interested in, you can proceed with booking online, or you can
call Disney Cruise Line for assistance with booking this cruise. Disney Cruise Line offers additional guidance on
how to book multiple staterooms.
A couple of notes for you when sailing with a large party spread out across multiple staterooms. If you want to dine together, be sure that you let Disney Cruise Line or your travel agent know this so that they can link the reservations and assign your dining together. When traveling with a large group who might be doing different activities during the day, we have found that dinner at the
rotational dining restaurants is a great way to come back together and share about our day's adventures.
Also, with children ranging in age, be sure to have them check out the
Youth Clubs appropriate for their ages. Many children, my daughter included, absolutely love these clubs where they can play and do fun activities together under the guidance of the Disney Youth Counselors. There is a wide range of activities for a wide range of interests, and sometimes there will even be some guest characters who make appearances!
I hope that this information helps you to get started in planning your magical vacation, Steven. Please feel free to sail on back to planDisney if you have any further questions!
