Welcome Back, Victoria!
I'm thrilled to hear you loved your first experience with Disney Cruise Line, and I'm even more excited to hear you're planning a second! I remember you stopping by the panel before your cruise on the Disney Fantasy - I recognize the term "grandgirls" - so cute! I'm so glad the cruise was a big success and made you look forward to sailing with Disney again.
I'm a big fan of surprising my kids when we take a Disney Cruise. Recently, the
Disney Cruise Line page on the Disney Parks Blog featured an article called "
How to Surprise Your Family with the Gift of a Disney Cruise". Several of us from the Moms Panel shared stories about how we surprised our kids - some of our fondest memories!
Character Calls are an awesome way to break the news about an upcoming cruise with Captain Mickey. Simply visit the My Reservations page on the official Disney Cruise Line
website, and you can schedule a date and time to receive the call. Unfortunately, if you miss a Character Call, it will not record the message to your voicemail. Your best bet is to schedule a time you know you'll be with the girls, so they'll be there when you receive the call. There's no charge for the calls, and you can schedule two per reservation.
Best of luck to you in your big reveal! I know your grandgirls are going to love the surprise. Please let us know if there's anything else we can help you with as you make plans!
Have an extra magical day! - Diane W.
