Hi there, Brian! Welcome to planDisney!
Allow me to be the very first to welcome you aboard your newest Disney obsession! A
first Disney cruise is so exciting because you're about to be introduced to all the pixie-dusted experiences on board for the first time. Also, as it’s a 7-Night sailing, by the end, it’s actually going to feel like your home, and you'll be planning your
return sailing! I would be happy to share all that you can expect on board, as well as any themed nights you can look forward to.
Knowing the themed nights definitely makes packing a lot easier. However, please note that dressing up for the theme of the evening is not a requirement, as it’s “dress up optional”, and that offerings are always subject to change. The themed nights you can expect on your cruise aboard the
Disney Treasure are:
- Night 1: Cruise Casual. Dress up in cruise or Disney casual attire
- Night 2: Formal Night. Dress tends to be fancier. You might find guests wearing gowns, suits, and ties, etc.
- Night 3: Cruise Casual. Dress up in cruise or Disney casual attire.
- Night 4: Pirate Night. Pull out your best swashbuckling attire!
- Night 5: Cruise Casual. Dress up in cruise or Disney casual attire.
- Night 6: Semi-Formal. Less fancy than Formal Night, but think cocktail dresses, pantsuits, button-down shirt without the jacket, etc.
- Night 7: Cruise Casual. Dress in either cruise or Disney casual attire.
Once on board the Disney Treasure, you can find the theme of each evening listed next to your Rotational Dining schedule in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. Since you’re going to be packing all the nice themed outfits, I suggest purchasing the Unlimited Digital Photo Package. You’re sure to take amazing photos on board, especially during a 7-Night sailing with plenty of photo opportunities. This way, you won’t have to choose between your favorites, but can keep them all!
Do you know what would be the cherry on top of all of these great outfits? A Disney Cruise Line Trivia medal! One of my family’s favorite activities on board our Disney cruises is Disney Trivia, and there are all kinds available, for all different ages. There are some available for families, and some strictly for adults 18 and older. You can find the times, locations, and age recommendations of each Disney Trivia game once on board, in the Daily Schedule of the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App.
As for the types of Disney Trivia available, you can look forward to Disney topics of all kinds: Disney music, movies, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Parks, Disney history, Star Wars (super popular!), Pixar, and so much more! Disney Trivia is a popular activity on board, as everyone wants the bragging rights to those adorable medals, so I highly suggest arriving about 15 minutes earlier than the posted start time, especially if you’d like to sit with a group.
Brian, I hope that I was able to offer guidance. I wish you TREASUREd memories on board your cruise! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any more questions.
Seas the Adventure,
Rana
