Hello! We are going on a Disney Cruise at the end of the year. Which Disney World Resort hotels have complimentary shuttle to Port Canerval for embarkation?

    Hi there, Khaliah!

Yesterday, my family and I disembarked from the lovely Disney Wonder. Today, we are already wishing we were back on a Disney Cruise Line ship! Fortunately, we have another cruise booked already. But this time, we'll be combining our cruise with a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, just like you. We cannot wait!

Now, let's talk about transportation. Disney Cruise Line Guests who are extending the magic with a pre-cruise or post-cruise land adventure at the Walt Disney World Resort may purchase Disney-provided ground transportation between their Disney World hotel and Port Canaveral, Florida. Buses are available from any Disney Resorts Collection hotel or select Deluxe Villa Resorts. Simply call the Disney Cruise Line or your travel professional to reserve your transportation and pay the associated per-passenger fee. Space may be limited. So it's recommended to call early to ensure you can reserve your seats. On the day of your cruise, porters will pick up your luggage directly from your hotel room to take them to the shp and you can relax as you enjoy the approximately hour-long ride from your hotel to the Disney Cruise Line terminal at Port Canaveral.

Guests who are going from a cruise to Disney World may also reserve transportation from the port back to a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. There are also options to go between the Orlando International Airport and Port Canaveral or select non-Disney hotels, including the stunning Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport and the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront hotels.

There are many ways to mix and match ground transportation options. For example, last year, my family enjoyed sailing aboard the Disney Treasure. We first flew into Orlando International Airport (MCO) the day before our cruise, picked up our luggage from the baggage claim, and then proceeded back upstairs to check into an incredibly comfortable room at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport, complete with a beautiful view overlooking the interior of the airport. The next morning, we packed our bags and left them in our hotel room to be picked up by porters and transported to the ship. In the meantime, we enjoyed a pleasant check-in experience and a comfortable seat in a hotel conference room while we waited for our bus to pick us up and whisk us off to the port. After seven glorious nights on the Treasure, we returned to Port Canaveral, where we took our luggage to another Disney bus that we rode to Disney's Art of Animation Resort for a weekend stay so we could enjoy visits to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. After our stay at Art of Animation Resort, including extending an extra day, we arranged for our own transportation back to the airport before our flight back home. Overall, we loved the convenience and personal touch of the transportation services from the Disney Cruise Line. It felt as if we were on an uninterrupted extended vacation. The seamless process made us feel like VIPs!

No matter how you match your Disney Parks vacation, I'm sure you'll have a magical time, Khaliah. If you have any more questions as you get ready for your trip, please feel free to visit us again here at planDisney.

    Have a great time, Khaliah!
