Hi, going on Disney cruise Dec 13-17. Are smoothies included in the free drinks from the counter and sit down restaurants? Also typically that time of year is it warm enough for shorts on the ship given the cool breeze from the water? Thanks!

Smoothies are not included as a complimentary beverage. However, unlike other cruise lines, there is a 24 hour beverage station on Deck 9 with milk, coffee, hot cocoa, and sodas. Soda, coffee, tea, milk, hot cocoa and water are free in the dining rooms. Room service includes coffee, tea, milk and juice.

Typically the weather is delightful in December. You may find the water at Castaway Cay to be a bit cool though.  With daily highs near 80 and lows around 66, the weather should feel delightful to any passengers that are traveling from colder climates! If the wind is chilly, seek shelter on Deck 9 where you’ll be blocked from the wind. Enjoy!
