We are going on a Disney Cruise in 10 days, we are trying to figure if it's best to take our stroller for out 6 month old or rent one on the ship, which I read is first come first serve ? What is the best idea to do?

    Ahoy, Candie!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I remember taking my 6-month old son on his first Disney Cruise Line cruise! I will never forget the moment when we were strolling him along the deck when all of a sudden Mickey and Minnie came walking out to take their own stroll on deck! They stopped to give us hugs and looked at my son in his stroller. I will never forget the look on his face once they started waving to him and tickling his feet. This was his first time meeting both Mickey and Minnie and I'll have this moment forever etched in my heart!

We always brought my son's stroller along with us on each Disney Cruise. It came in handy from the moment we entered the Port Terminal and throughout the cruise. There are a limited number of strollers to rent at a first-come, first-served basis while onboard. If you think having a stroller is a "must have", I suggest bringing your little sailor's stroller from home. We found that although the stateroom corridors are a little narrow, we never had an issue rolling our son throughout the ship! Now he's in a wheelchair and we still have no issues maneuvering him from adventure to adventure.

Is your kiddo on the move yet? If so, you HAVE to sign him up for Jack-Jack's Diaper Dash! This is one of my favorite events to watch! Disney Cruise Line will have multiple heats and "race" crawling babies in the lobby Atrium. Family and caregivers will cheer, bribe and beg their little cuties to make their way towards the finish line. Usually, the adorable babies wind up making friends along the way! Even if your little cruiser isn't crawling, keep an eye out for this event in your Personal Navigator newsletter or on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app! It draws quite a crowd!
