Hi Ann!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR that you will soon be embarking on your FIRST Disney Cruise Line vacation!! I love it when the
Disney Wonder makes it way to Galveston because it makes it so convenient for us Texans!! Nothing better than a close departure port! You are going to have just the best time onboard – so much fun and excitement awaits you!
As a first time cruiser, your
Online Check-In and booking window opens 75 days prior to your sailing date at the stroke of midnight (EST)…and I know that date is fast approaching!! I understand your concern about being able to reserve those onboard activities and my recommendation is that if you don’t see it right away, don’t worry!! While Disney Cruise Line does not keep a wait list for activities, Guests do change their plans and if they do, activites are immediately added into the system and can be booked! Also, it is not necessary to complete your Online Check-In prior to reserving activites, so do that first...then complete the Online Check-In!
If that is not successful, then the Personal Navigator that you receive when you check-in at the port for will have a scheduled time where Guests can visit with the dining room Cast Members, including Palo, to make changes to and make new reservations. Do that and also stop by the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and ask about making a reservation for your Mouseketeers if a reservation is not available online ahead of time. Honestly, I have never made an appointment ahead of time and have not had an issue getting my boys in for a Pirates League makeover!!
Sending pixie-dust your way!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
