Ahoy there, Jim. Thanks for taking the time to sail by planDisney with your question for us.
It looks like you’re interested in purchasing a
wine package for an upcoming sailing on a Disney cruise. This can be an affordable option to enjoying perfectly paired wine with your dinner during rotational dining. You have the option of buying the wine package pre-cruise or you can inquire with your dining room servers during dinner on your first night.
With the wine package, you will not be charged a corkage fee. If you’re not able to finish the bottle of wine during dinner, your dining room server will cork the wine for you so you can enjoy the following night; or you may bring it back to your stateroom to enjoy. At the end of your cruise, you are allowed to bring up to 2 unopened wine (from your wine package) home if you’re not able to savor them during dinner.
Another economic way to enjoy wine during your Disney cruise is
bringing your own wine bottles on board. Each adult 21 years of age and older are allowed to bring 2 bottles of unopened wine (750 mL or less) or 6 cans of beers (12 ounces or less) on Embarkation Day and at each port of call. You can ask your stateroom attendant for wine glasses and a corkscrew if needed for the wine bottles you bring onboard.
Oftentimes, I like to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or a glass of wine at one of the
lounges on a Disney ship. They usually have Happy Hour where certain drinks are offered at a discounted price. Be sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the times and location for Happy Hour.
I hope this information is helpful for you as you get ready for your upcoming cruise. Please feel free to stop by
planDisney again if you have more questions for us.
Hope to SEA ya real soon,
Kiki
