Hello there, Melissa!
Welcome to planDisney and congratulations on your upcoming adventure!
Captain Jack Sparrow loves a strong drink, and I'm sure he'd approve of your plan! However, I have to let you know that
Disney Cruise Line has some
limitations on the provisions that travelers can bring onboard. Each adult (21 years and older) may bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no bottles larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board at the beginning of your cruise and at each port of call. These beverages must be in their original, sealed containers. All beverages must be packed in carry-on (not checked) bags or luggage, anything packed in your checked bags will be removed without compensation or return.
Don't worry, there are plenty of exciting places to find a tempting drink onboard, whether it's rum like Captain Jack would likely choose, tequila, or something totally new! Many cruises offer
alcohol tastings, which are both educational and fun! There are also plenty of
nightclubs and lounges where you can enjoy a delightful atmosphere along with your beverage. You should also keep an eye out for the "Drink of the Day" each day of your cruise! These special cocktails change daily, so there's always something new. You can usually find today's drink in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App while you're onboard.
Melissa, I know your packing list might have to adjust a little, but I'm hopeful that you'll find a delightful drink to toast your cruise when you're onboard! As Captain Jack would say, "Drink up, me Hearties!"
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
