Ahoy, John!
Welcome aboard planDisney! I’m thrilled you sailed by with this question—hydration is key when you’re bouncing between character meet-and-greets, pool deck fun, and those late-night soft serve runs (no judgment, I’ve been there!).
Let’s dive right in: yes, you can bring bottled water onboard your Disney cruise, but there’s a bit of fine print—so let’s keep things shipshape!
First, all beverages—including bottled water, soda, and even sparkling water—must be packed in your carry-on luggage, not your checked bags. This is really important. Checked luggage goes through a different screening process, and if beverages are found inside, they may be removed to avoid leaks and damage to other Guests’ luggage. So, if you’re planning to bring your own supply of H2O, just be sure you’re ready to roll it aboard yourself. Literally—wheeled carry-ons are a lifesaver.
There’s no official limit on the number of bottles you can bring, but remember, it all has to fit in your carry-on. Basically, if you can carry it without using your Genie’s three wishes, you’re good to go!
Now here’s a little insider tip: while I used to be firmly in the “bottled water only” camp, I’ve been totally converted. The water onboard Disney ships is thoroughly filtered and honestly tastes fantastic. I always bring a refillable water bottle with me and
fill it up at a Beverage Station or at meals—it’s much easier than schlepping cases of water through security.
If you’re prefer a little extra convenience, you can also pre-order bottled water through
Onboard Gifts section before your cruise. It’ll be waiting in your stateroom when you arrive—like a hydration fairy godmother dropped it off just for you.
I hope this
helps you feel ready to sip, sail, and soak up every magical moment! If you have any more questions as you prepare for your adventure at sea, just send them my way—I’m always happy to help Guests like you chart the course.
Sea ya real soon with a June full of sun, sea, and shipshape adventures,
Dustin
