Hi there, Laura!
Welcome to planDisney. I am sorry to hear that you need to cancel your Disney Cruise! As much as we all love sailing aboard the Disney Cruise Line, I know that sometimes life circumstances change or unexpected events prevent us from going on a planned vacation. It is so disappointing!
Information on cancellations and refunds can be found in the
Disney Cruise Line Terms and Conditions for Residents of the United States. Just scroll down until you reach the "Cancellations/Refunds" section. In most situations, Disney Cruise Line vacations canceled more than 120 days in advance can get a refund. Cancellations of shorter cruises can potentially receive a refund more than 90 days before the sailing date. Keep in mind that reservations categories with restrictions are usually nonrefundable.
You can try
canceling your reservation on the
Disney Cruise Line website. After logging into your MyDisney account on the website, highlight "Already Booked" and choose "My Reservations". You should be able to cancel your trip under "Modify Reservation". Review your trip documents closely to see if any cancellation fees apply. If you are unsure about those fees, I suggest
calling Disney Cruise Line before canceling. You may want to consider sailing at a later date instead of canceling the trip!
Laura, I am sorry that you have to cancel your trip. I hope you have something magical planned for the future!
You are the magic!
Jen
