We are going on a Disney Cruise beginning of July. I was wondering if I should prepurchase the photo credits and if so how many?

    Hi Angie,

I'm typically behind the camera, so by looking at our albums you might wonder if I was even on vacation!  If this sounds familiar - using the the Disney Cruise line photographers is a fantastic way to get those elusive pictures of the entire family.

I normally would shy away from any "pre-purchase" packages,  because I worry that I won't  take full advantage of it - however on Disney cruises, the packages are refundable so you don't have to settle for pictures you don't want.

Personally, I recommend starting off with the value package.  If you determine during your voyage that it simply isn't enough - you can upgrade your package at any time.

Currently the credits are utilized as follows:
    • 8x10 photos = 2 credits
    • 6x8 photos = 1 credit

The package options are (pricing and packages subject to change):

    • Select = 40 credits  $249
    • Premium = 30 credits  $199
    • Choice = 20 credits  $149
    • Value = 10 credits  $89

Credits can be mixed and matched between photo sizes.  I also recommend taking the photos as you see them - don't wait hoping to get it later because photos are often removed to make room for new ones.  If you find a photo later on during your cruise that you like better than one you have already selected, they will let you swap it out - so you are not committed to keeping any of the photos (or upgrading unnecessarily).

    I hope this helps!
