We are going on our 1st Disney Cruise Aug 17. We are arriving on Aug 16 and we are staying at a Disney Resort. What activities would you recommend for afternoon/evening before we leave for our cruise?

    Hi Sharon!

Congratulations on your upcoming Cruise with the Disney Cruise Line.  You are going to have an amazing time on your first Disney Cruise.  My son and I have been on two Disney Cruises and love to Cruise the Disney way!  There are tons of things to do the night before your Disney Cruise if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort!  The great news is that you don't even need to buy a park ticket for the things that I am going to recommend for you.  First you can check out your Walt Disney World Resort.  There are fun themed pools at every Walt Disney World Resort and there are also restaurants and shops at each Walt Disney World Resort.  Also you can take a bus right from your Walt Disney World Resort to Downtown Disney where there is shopping, entertainment, and places to eat.  You also could make an Advanced Dining Reservation for dinner at one of the Walt Disney World Resorts (there are some amazing restaurants in the Resorts).  One of my favorite things to do in the evening that does not require a park ticket is to watch Wishes from the beach at the Polynesian Resort or the boat dock of the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

I hope that your whole next Disney vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
