Ahoy, Howard! Thanks for sailing to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question. I know you are eagerly counting down the days until you set sail with Captain Minnie on your Disney Fantasy vacation!
Based on the fact that you mentioned 75 days, that must mean you are a
first time Disney cruiser! Yay! You are correct-the advance booking window for first time cruisers to make reservations for onboard activities opens 75 days before the sail date.
Your timeframe is the same as the Fairy Godmother told Cinderella: when the clock strikes midnight (EST) on the day your advance booking window opens, you will be able to add activities and reservations to your cruise itinerary. When you log into "My Reservations" on the Disney Cruise Line website, go to the "My Plans" section and add activities there.
Check your cruise itinerary to decide which days for booking onboard activities such as the
Senses Spa and Salon and my personal favorites,
Palo and
Remy.
Tip: Have a list of up to
three Port Adventures ready and review how to
book Port Adventures online before your online check-in day so you know exactly how to navigate the Disney Cruise Line website. Once that advance booking window opens, you won’t have to scramble around (like the mice Jaq and Gus had to do for Cinderella) to do research on alternate Port Adventures because it’s already been done!
If one or more of the activities you wanted is not available, to paraphrase Cinderella, “They can’t order you to stop dreaming!” Guests often change their plans, so I recommend logging in to the Disney Cruise Line website to check if the activities become available before your cruise sets sail.
If you need specific recommendations, stop back by anytime. We’d love to help you navigate the cruise planning waters!
Once you’ve sailed on the Disney Fantasy, I hope you will be able to say that the dream that you wished came true!
