Is the Disney cruise for adults without children, or just for adults with kids? My wife and I will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and love Disney. Are there meals on board for couples only? Can this cruise be made special for us?

    Hi, Bill!

Oh my goodness, the Disney cruises are for everyone!! Sure, there are plenty of activities for children - and special kids-only areas! - but there are all kinds of options for adults traveling without children.

Every night, you'll receive a copy of the Personal Navigator, a schedule of events and activities for the following day. The guide is divided up by "age level" and by interest; you will find adults-only activities specifically designated (wine tastings and art lectures, for example), and all-ages activities (trivia contests, games tournaments, and more).

Nightlife is definitely made for those 18 and up. Each of the ships in Disney's fleet offers a wealth of nighttime choices, from sports bars to lounges to all-out discos. There is no gambling aboard any DIsney ship, but the nights are filled with music, dancing, karaoke, and amazing entertainment.

Each ship does offer at least one adults-only restaurant. Each of the four ships offers Palo, an upscale adventure in Northern Italian cuisine. Additionally, the Dream and the Fantasy have introduced Remy, another adults-only restaurant with a French gourmet flair. Please note that a small surcharge will be added to your cruise fees for dining at these exclusive restaurants.

You can surprise your sweetheart with a special gift on board. Just call 800 601 845, and the friendly Cast Member will walk you through a variety of options.

And do make sure to let your reservation agent know that you are celebrating an anniversary. You never know what magic Mickey might cook up for you!

    Bon voyage!

    See you later, celebrator!
