Would the Disney Cruise be an accommodating venue for a recently divorced mother and her 10 year old son who would like to celebrate his bday at the end of the month by spending some high quality time together?

    Ahoy Sabeen –

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for swinging by with your excellent question! I think a Disney cruise is a fabulous way for any family to reconnect and unwind, especially in your situation where some bonding and healing might be needed. With Disney Cruise Line, there is something for everyone and both you and your son will be able to enjoy time together and apart. Together experience savoring fine cuisine in the Rotational Dining, marvelous entertainment with first run movies and Broadway style shows, thrilling family activities like Bingo, Karaoke, dance parties and game shows. While your pirate cub enjoys the Oceaneer Club, you will delight in the adult areas of the ship including the Spa, wine tastings, and cooking seminars. For birthday celebrations I recommend a visit to Gifts & Amenities for stateroom birthday decorations and specialty cake orders. I recently had the chance to sail solo with my 2 tiger cubs and I was able to reconnect with them in a special way on my relaxing cruise. Sabeen, I hope you that find a meaningful way to spend time with your son, and please come back to see us again!
