    Hi, for the Disney cross country classic, can individuals that are in high school, but are just running the event by themselves without their team, enter the open race 5k (beast division) as an unattached, individual runner?

    Hi, Haley! 

    Thank you so much for your question! Unfortunately, all events (including the Beast Division 5K) held during the Disney Cross Country Classic are for teams only - no unattached or individual athletes may participate. 

    However, it is not too late to register a High School Cross Country Team to participate in the 2015 events. Just ensure all athletes are current members of your state High School Athletic Association as well as under the rules of the National Federation of State High School Association (NFHS), and be able to compete according to your state's rules and regulations. Select the highlighted link above for more information and athlete eligibility.
