I will be at Disney for a conference in December. If we want to make dining reservations while there do we need a pass to the park that the restaurant is in as well?

    Hi Kim!

You're going to have a fantastic time at your conference at Walt Disney World Resort! I love to visit the "Most Magical Place on Earth" to get a taste of the Florida sunshine when it's cold (and possibly snowy) at home. Plus, since you're visiting during the holiday season, you'll be able to enjoy all of the incredible decorations throughout the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs!

If you're enjoying a restaurant inside one of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, then Guests who are 3 years old and above will need both a theme park ticket and a theme park reservation to enjoy your dining reservation. I recommend that you check with your conference organizer to determine if they are offering any special options for ticket purchases for conference attendees.

Kim, you are always welcome to enjoy restaurants in the Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs without theme park tickets. In fact, some of my favorite dining experiences are outside of the theme parks. I love California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort and it's one of my favorite meals to enjoy with or without my little ones. The restaurant offers incredible views of Magic Kingdom and you may even be able to enjoy Magic Kingdom's nighttime spectacular from the restaurant's balconies during your meal!

Feel free to come back to see us if you have additional questions as your conference approaches. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
