So we will be in Disney this coming Dec and will have a four year old, would you say it is or is not worth trying to do the Very Merry Christmas with the late hours and the price I am torn...

Welcome Stephanie! Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am glad to hear you are considering to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year.  This is an amazing special event, I am sure your family will have an unforgettable moment!
It is worth it! Especially if it is your first time at Disney Theme Parks during Holidays Season, you shouldn’t miss this great party. My daughter has been attending this event since she was three years old and we have never had a problem with her. She loves it! What I usually do, is to take her back to the hotel in the middle of the day for a nap, so when we return later to Magic Kingdom Park, she is happy and full of energy to stay awake until the event is over.
Taking a stroller is also a good alternative, in case she feels tired or needs some rest during the party.
Don’t forget to get your complimentary hot cocoa and cookies and get ready to have lots of fun!
Please, come back to visit us again if you have further questions.
    Have a magical day!
