We are going to Disney this coming April and are so excited to let our 2 year old have her first hair cut at The Harmony Barber Shop! We are getting the first hair cut package, I was wondering how long we should plan the cut to take?

    Hi Megan,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

When I was asked to name my favourite Disney Parks souvenir, my answer was, without hesitation, my son’s “My First Haircut” Mouse Ears that he got after his first hair cut at Harmony Barber Shop. It was a magical and poignant moment for me: although a baby sat down in that chair, a little boy was smiling up at me when it was over.

I looked at our pictures and videos in order to answer your question and the entire experience seems to have taken about 15 minutes from start to finish. If you’re making time-sensitive plans that day, I would set aside about 30-40 minutes for the entire experience, just to be on the safe side.

    Have a Magical Day!
