Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Cindi. We're so glad you stopped by!
Like you, I had to cancel my family's Walt Disney World Resort vacation last summer. What a disappointment! We are very eagerly counting down the days to our rescheduled visit. I'm sure you're just as eager to reschedule your trip!
To answer your question,
if you purchased date-specific theme park tickets through June 2020 with a valid use period beginning on March 12, 2020 or later, your tickets will automatically be extended to use any date through September 26, 2021. If you cannot visit by that date, you may apply the value of your wholly unused tickets toward the purchase of a ticket for a future date, but it sounds like your August visit will be perfectly timed! If the specifics I mentioned do not apply to the 3-day tickets that you purchased, I recommend calling the Ticketing Team at (407) 566-4985. A friendly Cast Member there can determine if your tickets are still valid. If your tickets are no longer valid, not to fret!
You may be able to apply the value of the tickets towards new tickets.
Once you have your tickets sorted out and they're linked to your
My Disney Experience account, be sure to book your
Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass system. This system helps manage attendance and promotes physical distancing, making a safe visit for all Guests!
I hope this was helpful, Cindi. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
