We will be going to Disney at Christmas time this year. We arrive on December 18th and I noticed that is the last day for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Would you recommend we purchase tickets? What do you get to see that is different?

    Hi Christine:

I recommend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. What make the party unique and different is a special parade and enhanced firework show. Guests are also greeted down Main Street with "snow" falling all around, which is certainly a unique sight to see in Florida. Guests can also pick up complimentary cookies and cocoa and enjoy several meet and greet opportunities with characters as well as Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Since a separate ticket is required for entry to the party, lines to rides are also generally shorter (which is very unique and different for Walt Disney World).

    Enjoy your vacation.
