We are going to disney for Christmas, and not sure whether we should purchase a dining plan or not. It will be 2 adults with a 1 year and 2.5 yr old. Suggestions? Also, some hotels don't count kids under 2 or 3 in the occupancy do Dis resorts count them?

    Hi Heather,

WDW doesn't charge you extra for a child under 3 staying in your room.  You also do not need to buy them park tickets to enter the theme parks.  That's one of the main reasons my daughter got to go to Disney World 3 times before she turned 3.

I would recommend getting the meal plan for the two adults.  If you eat at a buffet it will be very easy for the little ones to share off of your plates.  At the family styled meals like the Garden Grill or 'Ohana, the server will most likely have a small complimentary meal for the little ones.  You will run into a few situations where you may have to pay for a child's meal.  If you do, they are not very expensive and the two kids can probably share one.

    Have a great trip
