We are going to disney for Christmas and will be arriving for the last day of the very merry Christmas party. I know the tickets are extra.i. Is it worth the expense to attend this special event and does it count against the normal park ticket days?

    Hi Alisha!

Thank you so much for your question!  Christmastime at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite times of the year, and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of the reasons that makes it a favorite!  Snow on Main Street USA, hot chocolate, cookies, Holiday Wishes, all so magical!

This is a hard ticket event, which does mean that you'll use a separate ticket to enter the park on party night, and it will not deduct and admission from your existing ticket media.

As much as I do love the party, it tends to be a little more busy than normal on the last night, so if your goal is to get some attractions knocked off your list, you probably won't do as well as you'd hoped.  If you're looking to get in a 'holly jolly' mood and get some fabulous character interaction, I'd definitely go!  It's also a great way to get into the parks without using a day off of your existing ticket media.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a magical vacation!
