We are going to be in Disney 4/22-4/29 and we have choosen to do the meal plan, my question is do we truly need to make reservations before our arrival? I am trying to not plan our day because we have to be at a certain place at a certain time.

Hi Janette - I definitely recommend that you make advanced dining reservations for most, if not all, of your table service meals.  Most of the table service restaurants are extremely popular, and it can be difficult to get in to the restaurants at your preferred time if you don't have reservations.

If you are concerned about the flexibility of your days, consider making reservations for breakfasts and dinners, but not lunches.  That way, you can either start or end your day with a table service meal, and keep the remainder of the day very flexible.

Once you get down to Walt Disney World, if you choose to change your reservations, it's easy to do at guest services at the parks or your resort concierge.

    Have a great vacation!
