Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Joanne! I’ve stomped and roared all over the place looking for a good answer about your charms. I have a charm bracelet myself with all sorts of additions, so I know you have a few price points and style options to complete your collection.
I’m afraid that the flat, painted charms that used to be at Chester and Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures aren’t quite there anymore. I had trouble locating them, even with a Cast Member’s help. But I have some other charm options for you. If you haven’t yet downloaded the
Shop Disney Parks Mobile App, I’d recommend that free download, which shows many of the merchandise options all across the Resort. You can shop by keyword or browse categories to find items and reveal which stores they are hiding in. Oftentimes, you can ship items straight to your home, but keep an eye out during your vacation. You’ll find tons of merchandise that’s only available inside the parks… these are my treasures!
While you’re in Animal Kingdom, head to the charm headquarters, Discovery Trading Co. There, you’ll find options like the sterling silver Minnie Bow or the 45th anniversary Castle for around $50. For less expensive charm options, visit Windtraders in Pandora or a few of my favorite stops in Magic Kingdom like
Uptown Jewelers. Located on Main Street, U.S.A., Uptown Jewelers has gorgeous Pandora brand charms in all sorts of shapes, and Big Top Souvenirs (next to where Dumbo soars) has a Minnie charm for only $4.95. I hope you can find something that suits your style and is easier to dig up than a dinosaur fossil! Please let me know if I can help you find anything else, and have a magical vacation! ~ Lindsey P.
