Do the Disney characters, i.e. Princesses, Mickey, Donald, etc. roam the parks throughout the day or are they only available to meet and greet at designated locations and times? As a child I recall they also walked about the parks! Thanks

    Hi there, Julie!

I, too, remember the days of characters roaming the Disney Parks. It was exciting to see Snow White strolling around Fantasyland or meeting Peter Pan by chance in Adventureland. For the most part, character interactions are held in designated locations. It's not as spontaneous, but it is nice to know we can find our favorite characters on each trip, and it's much more organized. You may still find a character roaming around every now and then, but that's definitely a pixie-dusted moment and not a regular occurrence.

However, the Citizens of Main Street and Citizens of Hollywood are always walking about at Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park. I absolutely love talking to the citizens and taking a photo with them.

    Have a magical day,
