Hi Surabi,
Welcome to planDisney!
Well, your question makes me happy because I love to discuss dining at Disney!
Like you, my family loves
character dining experiences. There are several that are located in
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. A few of our favorites include:
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera (characters are currently only at breakfast), located at Disney's Riviera Resort;
1900 Park Fare, located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa;
Chef Mickey's, located at Disney's Contemporary Resort; and
Cape May Cafe (characters are currently only at breakfast), located at Disney's Beach Club resort.
With your arrival date during the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort, I highly recommend that you make an
advanced dining reservation immediately. If there is no availability, keep checking! I also have used dining reservation finder services online. So, check around for a free service or, if your budget allows, a paid service. Honestly, I have been able to just keep checking and find a reservation. I will typically pick a day that I have a few hours and I will focus on checking during that time frame. Reservation availability has also popped up as we have gotten closer to the dates of our visit.
Surabi, I hope this helps! I also recommend going to the homepage of each restaurant and clicking on the option to View Menu. Then select your meal period (breakfast, lunch, or dinner). Once you view the menu, you can see available food options and pricing. My family typically enjoys character dining at breakfast when we are not using a
dining plan because breakfast pricing is often more affordable. Sending a little extra pixie dust trusting that you will get at least one reservation made!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
