Is there a way to have a Disney Character knock on our hotel room door and meet my children? Is it possible to order this surprise thru a celebration gift ?It is my children's first time in WDW and we'll be staying at the Art of Animation Resort. Thanks!

    Hi, Myriam!

While the Disney Characters are not able to visit your room, you will have so many wonderful opportunities to meet your Disney Pals in all the parks and at the character dining locations.  Everyone from Mickey Mouse to the Mad Hatter can be found at dining locations in parks and resorts.

If you are looking for a special surprise for your kids, try a delivery from The Disney Florist.  They create such magical gifts.  If you really want something out of this world, you might consider Mickey's Grand Welcome or the Disney Family Treats Tote.  I have received both of these and both were amazing!  It is so much fun to come back to your room to find a magical delivery.  You can order online or call a Dream Maker at  (407)WDW-GIFT for selections and pricing.

I hope you enjoy Disney's Art of Animation Resort. I am so excited to see this amazing new resort come to life!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
