Welcome back to planDisney! Ok, now I know you’re a real one if you’re asking about the iconic Must Do show on Resort Room TV! And wow, did it unlock a core Disney memory for me. I feel like for so many of us, the vacation didn’t officially start until we turned on the TV in our
Walt Disney World Resort hotel room and Stacy popped up on Must Do Disney. It was comfort viewing, hype viewing, and that “okay, now I’m REALLY home” feeling all rolled into one.
While Must Do Disney is no longer airing as a dedicated channel on the in-room TVs at Disney Resort hotels at Walt Disney World Resort, there are still some really fun and helpful options available now. The in-room TV experience has shifted more toward on-demand content, which means you can watch what you want, when you want, perfect for that first night after check-in or a relaxing evening back at the resort.
Depending on your resort, you’ll find on-demand Disney content that can include things like fireworks shows (yes, watching
Happily Ever After from your room is a thing!), resort and park highlights, and even planning
tips shared by fellow planDisney panelists. It’s a different format than the old looped channel, but still very much designed to get you excited, informed, and in that Disney state of mind.
And if you’re craving a little extra nostalgia, many Must Do Disney episodes can still be found online, making it easy to recreate that arrival-night tradition on your own schedule. I’ve been known to go down that rabbit hole to relive some of those nostalgic Disney memories that live forever in my core memories!
