Welcome to planDisney, Carol!
There’s just something about the holiday spirit that envelops us like a warm blanket of comfort at Walt Disney World. Festive decorations, delicious food, and characters decked out in holiday attire make for plenty of
holly jolly fun.
I'm happy to share that November 12th is the day when the transformation is complete and all the yuletide decor magically appears. Or as you put it, it will be “full blown Christmas.” So when you arrive the following week, prepare to be surrounded all around by holiday decorations.
Perhaps you already have plans to experience
Disney Very Merriest After Hours, a brand new ticketed event. Debuting on November 8th and continuing on select nights through the holiday season, the Magic Kingdom is decked out in holiday entertainment and spectacle. Don’t miss Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks for special holiday-themed pyrotechnics. Over at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Hollywood Holiday Tower lights up with “Sunset Seasons Greetings” where projections include a
Frozen Arendelle, a Muppets gingerbread house, and a
Toy Story inspired hotel. Meanwhile,
Disney Springs has both a Christmas Tree Stroll with multiple Disney-themed trees and a magical snowfall sure to add some whimsy and wow moments to your Disney Springs experience.
I hope this has you even more excited about your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Point your sleigh back in the direction of planDisney if you want to chat more. Sending you candy cane wishes and sugar plum dreams for your holiday vacation!
