Will Disney celebrate Day of the Dead November 1st?

    Hi, there!

Oh my goodness, Kayla - it looks like you're heading to the Walt Disney World Resort TODAY. You must be so excited! I know I would be. I practically skip out of my house when I'm on my way to "The World's Most Magical Place!"

You ask a great question. While the Walt Disney World Resort hasn't officially published anything about Day of the Dead celebrations, I can tell you that you'll surely experience a celebration of the everlasting bonds of family at the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT. There, Guests can celebrate Día de los Muertos year-round at the Mexican Folk Art Gallery's “Remember Me!” – La Celebración del Día de Muertos exhibit. This exhibit captures the beauty and significance of the Day of the Dead holiday. If you visit the Mexico Pavilion, be sure to check out the Mirror de los Muertos. This interactive experience is not to be missed! Guests can create their own Día de los Muertos skeleton via screen capture technology and then link it to their My Disney Experience account with Disney PhotoPass. How cool is that?

While you're exploring World Showcase at EPCOT, visit La Cantina de San Angel to munch on Mexican favorites like tacos, empanadas, and churros. YUM!

I hope this was helpful, Kayla. I'm wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
