Hello Becky,
As the current
UK-based Panelist here at planDisney, it makes my zip-a-dee-doo-dah-Disney-day to be the lucky one assisting you today.
Generally speaking, when I holiday with my own family at Walt Disney World Resort, I plan to have a variety of ways in which to make purchases and pay my way, and typically these include -
- Cash in US Dollars ($)
- Visa Debit Card
- MasterCard or Visa Credit Card
- Pre-paid cards such as Revolut, Monzo, or Chase
Becky, I'm also more than happy to share that I've personally been able to successfully use my UK-registered bank Visa debit card for transactions made at Walt Disney World Resort.
However, before initially using your debit, or credit cards on holiday, I would take moment to check with your bank for any potential transaction fees, or charges which might be incurred for using your card in the United States of America.
It might be good to hear that at present,
Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort are more than welcome to use any, or indeed a mixture of these payment types - - Visa
- MasterCard
- American Express
- Discover Card
- Diners Club Charge Card
- JCB (Japan Credit Bureau)
-
Disney Gift Card - Disney Rewards Dollars
- Disney® Visa® Card
Additionally, for Guest convenience, you can find 24-hour Chase
ATM machines dotted across Disney property. At present, both Mastercard, and Visa debit, or credit cards are also among those cards accepted for use in an ATM.
However, please bear in mind that transaction fees are payable for any cash withdrawals to any cardholder using a card that has not been issued by Chase.
Becky, I hope I've been able to provide a little reassurance and guidance for you today. Please know you'll be as welcome as can be to return to
me here at planDisney if you should have any follow-up questions concerning your future 2023 plans to visit the most magical place on earth.
Have a great Disney day ~
Jane
