Going on a Disney Carribean cruise Sept. 23rd with a 3 and 4 year-old. We debark at 7 a.m. on October 1st at Port canaverale. Can we visit to magic kingdom that same day? What time would we arrive at Magic kingdom? We fly out the next day. Thanks,

    Hi, Elisabeth!

You and your little ones are going to cherish your time together on board the Disney Magic to the Eastern Caribbean. I think that's a great idea to visit the Magic Kingdom on Debarkation Day!

Usually, Disney ships arrive back at Port Canaveral early in the morning and are cleared by US Customs around 7-7:30 a.m. Everyone is off the ship by 9 a.m. To arrive at the Magic Kingdom as soon as possible, you can take Disney Cruise Line ground transportation back to the Walt Disney World resort. You'll need to reserve your spots ahead of time, and you can do that by calling (800) 951-3532.

For a little more money and a lot more help, you can reserve a car service to pick you up at the port terminal as soon as you've cleared customs, and they can take you straight to your resort to check in. You can store your bags there, and then you're off to have fun at the Magic Kingdom before lunch. If you're staying at a Walt Disney World resort, make sure you know if the park will have late Extra Magic Hours on Debarkation Day. It may be worth it to rest in your room first and take advantage of extra time in the parks that night.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
